Yes… it is possible but all the pressure gives you
one big burst of thrust and then you drop like a rock.
that is why most people that make the things do it near a lake, so the person wearing it falls in the water instead of on someone’s house. They are not good for sustained flight. I am currently working on an idea for an actual jet-pack but I think it might evolve into a hover bike because of all the fuel and
batteries for the propulssion and control system.
I am going to need two small gas turbines identical
in size that put out 250 pounds of thrust each.
I’ve been shopping around on the internet but I really don’t have the money since I am fresh out of a messy divorce and paying child support. But… a man without a dream is like a car without gasoline, and if gas prices keep rising… that will be the case.
About me…
I’m Mark VandeWettering. I work for Pixar Animation Studios, but that’s not what this blog is about. I’m a husband and father and grandfather. I like telescope making, radio, and all sorts of other things.
