Today, five years ago, I posted my first message to the newly christened brainwagon.org. Now, a couple of thousand posts and a thousand comments later, I’m still here, boring people with the rather odd and eclectic collection of posts. I hope some of you continue to enjoy it.
I’m sure those 5 years have just flown by for you as the author, it has for me as one of your readers. One of the great things about sticking with something is the history that is built up, it is quite a collection you have. You were one of the early adopters not just of blogging but also podcasting, well done.
It is some months since I’ve looked at Brainwagon.org, I’ve been busy with many projects and have been neglecting my bloglist. I’ve always been a bit of a pc fan but last year I moved to Ubuntu which I really took to except for one aspect – poor ipod tools. So at the weekend I jumped in to the world of the mac and bought a cool little macbook. I’ve been playing around setting up various apps and revisiting some of my old haunts – I like the new layout.
Happy Birthday, here’s to the next 5 years.
Thanks a lot Steven! These little bits of encouragement are sometimes all that keep me posting.
Incidently, I think you are gonna like your new MacBook. Since I made the switch, I’m not going back to Microsoft.
