Unfortunately for my QTH it is geometrically impossible for Arecibo to illuminate the moon while it is above the horizon here (because of its limited elevation tracking).
I wonder how well the folded monopole feed works? Would be interesting to check the symmetry of the antenna pattern in the H-plane. Does it represent a good match to the feedline?
