Thanks Adam, I feel better.

Last night, I did what I consider to have been one of the poorer podcasts. Frankly, I was tired and empty of ideas, and just put something up as a courtesy to the two or three other peoples that might want something fresh on their iPod in the morning. Frankly, I was feeling a little guilty at turning out such a mediocre entry.

But this morning, I am feeling much better, and it’s all thanks to Adam Curry and his Trade Secrets.

The latest Trade Secrets was 52+ minutes long, and we were treated to the following content:

  • Dave rattling around while getting coffee.
  • Dave recommending a song.
  • Dave emailing Adam a song.
  • Adam waiting for song to arrive.
  • More waiting.
  • “Wait, let me upload it to a server instead!”
  • More waiting.
  • “Let’s play the song!”
  • Two-and-a-half minutes of near silence, punctuated by two short phrases from the song.

Thanks Adam! I’m feeling much better about my own meager efforts after listening to this. Futhermore, if the NAB is listening in to determine the long term viability of this medium and happen upon this particular podcast, it’s clear that they will see it as no threat and will go leave us alone.
