Bloggercon Post-Mortem

November 7, 2004 | Audioblogs and Podcasting, Blogging, Brainwagon Radio | By: Mark VandeWettering

Where your host, refreshed by two ibuprofen and eight hours of sleep, replays his experience and impressions of Bloggercon.

Closing music from garageband.com:

Push: Don’t want to say goodbye

Errata: I said “Michael Scoble” on the podcast, he is of course Robert Scoble. Why is it that my brain can remember thousands of Simpson’s quotes verbatim, but fails on these rudimentary social tests?

After Mark’s audio wrap-up of Bloggercon , I sat down to do my own, but… I’m only getting 11dB of signal on the Windows box, not enough to get comfortably out of background noise, and on the Linux machines I’m getting pops that sound like clipping,

Mark, I listened to you BloggerCon wrap up as I was getting ready to head home from BloggerCon myself. I really enjoyed our conversation during lunch yesterday and wanted to let you know I think you are doing a great job. I look forward to staying in touch as podcasting continues to grow.

[Ed: Thanks Mike, and ditto to you! I suspect you will be causing me to re-watch and buy a bunch of new DVDs. 🙂 ]

Nnice wrap-up. I dig that song by Push – it’s got a bit of a Corrs thing going on. Nice.
