I suspect the world would be better if that percentage were even greater.
How can I continue to get my head through the door?
People keep saying nice things about my blog. Golly, thanks!

Hi Mark, listening to the latest podcast, and I notice that there’s (still?) quite a bit of hiss in your audio. Not sure what can be done to mitigate the effect, but it’s kinda distracting. Which is a bummer, ’cause I love your show!
Cheers,
–Steve
Editor’s note: I’ll figure it out, and let you all know what the problem was in my next podcast. I suspect two things:
- I changed my headphone setup a bit. Instead of plugging into the front jacks on my computer, I’m plugging into the back. The noise levels (for whatever reason) seem higher in these jacks.
- I changed my mixer setup a bit to get higher levels, but I suspect I’ve overdone it a bit, and am now pickup up way too much noise.
More in my next podcast. Sorry for murdering your ears.

Mark, Brainwagon was one of the first podcasts I subscribed too way back when. I’m happy to say that while many other have fade from my list, I still enjoy listening to Brainwagon. Part of what keeps me comming back is that you never really know what your going to hear on the next installment. Keep up the good work!
Brian
Editor’s note: Thanks Brian! I never know what I am going to say in my next installment, so we are even. 🙂

You deserve it, Mark. Especially for your recent commentary about podcasting & commercialism/marketing. I’ll be writing about that more, definitely. Thanks for your efforts.
